Colors can be used to communicate feelings and inner desires. iTalkColor presents questions that you answer with colors. Colors have meaning and most people find the results to be surprisingly accurate and revealing.

Use iTalkColor for:

- Personal Reflection
- Deeper sharing with others
- An alternative way to express your feelings / inner desires

Unlike color personality tests, this app provides a reflection of your inner life and how you see yourself. It uses colors as answers to questions. You choose the colors, we provide the meanings. Color choices come from the non-logical, right-brain, intuitive part of ourselves.

Colors have meaning. We live in a world of color. We are affected by color. We are attracted to some colors and not others - at different times and in different situations.

iTalkColor is based on years of research in the fields of:
• Psychology
(Deals with the mind and behavior)
• Art
(Use of light, shade, and hue)
• Nature
(The world - sky, earth, plants, water)
• Physiology
(Deals with physical reactions)

Are colors just random?
Imagine the following:
• You walk into a well lit operating room - complete with a stainless steel table in the middle - where the walls are painted black, dark red or traffic light green.
• You get on a public bus and everyone else is wearing hot-pink jump suites.
• You have a meeting in a high rise office building. You enter a conference room with bright blue walls and everyone is wearing yellow suites.
• You gaze across the landscape - light blue sky, deep blue waters, green grass, brown earth, and yellow and violet flowers.

Why is my color choice meaningful?
Your choice is not random (unless you want it to be). 10 people may make 10 different choices to the same questions. 10 people may be feeling differently and having different issues - they will each be attracted / repelled by different colors.

If a friend asked you how you were feeling - you might say "fine" even when you were not feeling fine. Your friend would not know how you were feeling. The same is true of the of color choices. Honesty in, honesty out. Try to be relaxed and open when making color choices.

Can iTalkColor help to better understand children?
Yes. iTalkColor has been used to better understand and give a voice to what children are feeling. Children often do not have the awareness or capability to express themselves. But, they can easily choose colors. The colors and the iTalkColor app are fun for children and they readily make choices.

Some children may need help with the questions and some guidance on selecting colors (at first). Try to be neutral about the questions - just explain what the question is and ask them to make a color choice.
